FHRAI Education Trust
FET is an educational Institute which aims at laying a sound foundation of Hospitality Education and shape its course for future generations.
The mission of the trust is to provide high quality hospitality education in order to promote international understanding. The vision is to be a center of excellence for scholars in a professional environment. Thus the trust aims to achieve the following objectives through its campuses proposed to be established in India and abroad :

With its mission and vision, FET aims to get a University Status and be a World Class Centre of Education Research Learning and Development where research scholars, executives from the industry and students from all over the world would visit to acquire knowledge and expertise and conduct research work /projects on the burning issues of Hospitality Industry.
The basic purpose of establishing this great temple of knowledge and acquiring the status of being an independent centre of learning and knowledge of Hospitality Education as a role model of international level can be achieved with the cooperation of all members of the Association.
26th November 2008 was a day of a great achievement for FHRAI when a collaboration with IGNOU was established for jointly conducting Hospitality Management programmes. This has opened many possibilities for furthering and advancing Hospitality education. We have a close and active association with IGNOU yet retain the basic character and existence of our Institute and also maintain the independent status of FET.
The tie up will provide the best educational and training facilities for students. In fact, an opportunity to provide hospitality education of high quality to all who wish to realize their ambition and fulfill their potential. The joint hospitality programmes will be launched from the academic session 2009 and degrees will be awarded by Indira Gandhi National Open University.
The first two batches of students of Hospitality Management and Culinary Art have completed their programmes in June 2008, after having industrial exposure in leading hotels in India and abroad. The industry is invited to take benefit of the knowledge, skill and expertise of these young boys and girls so that they get an opportunity to contribute their best in the development of the Hospitality Industry.
A long term vision could be that, under the banner of FHRAI-Education Trust, all efforts be made by all powerful lobby of our members for a separate Act to be passed by the government for formation and establishment of a Private FHRAI Hospitality University.
