The FHRAI Institute has four core departments for teaching; F&B Service, F&B Production, Front Office and Housekeeping. The last two have been combined under the common name of Rooms Division, as is the practice in most hotels where front office, reservations and housekeeping come under Director, Rooms Division. 

The teacher-student ratio is 1:20 as per the accepted international norms. In fact considering the students away on business internships, the ratio may be 1:15 for students on the campus. Care has been taken to find well-qualified faculty with Industry as well as teaching experience.
